Atrium Health Governing Boards

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority (CMHA) Board of Commissioners is a group of individuals who have demonstrated an interest in the health and welfare of the general public and serve on a volunteer basis, without compensation.

The Board of Commissioners meets once per quarter. The 2026 schedule for meetings is: 

• Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026
• Wednesday, June 10, 2026
• Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026
• Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2026

All meetings begin at 2:30 p.m. ET and are conducted virtually.

During these meetings, the Board of Commissioners also will be acting as the board of directors of Atrium Health Hospitals, Inc. (AHHI), a wholly owned subsidiary of CMHA, with respect to AHHI matters.

Any updates or changes to this schedule, including any additional or special meetings called by the Chair, will be published on this page in accordance with notification requirements described under North Carolina General Statutes §143 318.12.

Members of the public and the media may view meetings virtually. Please notify us of your intent by emailing AtriumHealthBoard@AdvocateHealth.org in advance of the next scheduled meeting. Log-in information to view the proceedings will be e-mailed to you ahead of the meeting. 

Attendance at Board of Commissioners meetings is for observation purposes only. There is no scheduled opportunity nor capability for the public or media to address the board during these meeting broadcasts.
