Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in vibrant Charlotte, NC. Two fellowship positions per year will be offered to qualified candidates for completion of a two-year fellowship program.

Mission
We seek to develop exceptional, compassionate, well-rounded Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) physicians who provide excellent patient care across a variety of clinical settings and are committed to life-long learning and systems improvement. Our PHM Fellowship focuses on developing clinical leaders in PHM with a propensity for clinical practice and a strong academic foundation in patient safety and quality and systems improvement. We foster a passion for using this knowledge to help improve health disparities and outcomes for all children. We offer a wide variety of clinical settings amongst our hospital network, but the majority of clinical time will be spent at Levine Children’s Hospital, the largest and most comprehensive children’s hospital in the region. Get to know Levine Children’s Hospital!

How to Apply
The Carolinas Medical Center and Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME-accredited program that participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Our program is listed under the sponsoring institution, Carolinas Medical Center. Applications are submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and applicants must also register with the NRMP. The application process opens in early July. Once applications are fully completed in ERAS, they will be reviewed and selected applicants will be invited to interview.
