Learn about our seasonal visitor policy & patient guidelines

When Cabarrus County General Hospital opened in 1937, volunteers began helping their community hospital. Today, volunteers continue to be valued members of the dedicated team of workers at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Their many hours of volunteering continue to support our community and our mission of providing health, hope and healing for all.

Most volunteer positions are available during the weekdays, with limited evening and weekend shifts. There are a variety of opportunities to help.

Volunteer schedules vary by department needs. Shifts are generally 4 hours, once a week.
