Biography
“I am really motivated to help people become free from seizures. Nothing motivates me more than helping epilepsy patients do things in life that others might take for granted.”
Dr. Singh is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, sleep medicine and epilepsy.
His clinical interests include comorbid conditions and new techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of seizures. He also has a special interest in medical intractable epilepsy and seizure disorder. He is the medical director of the Epilepsy and Neurodiagnostics Program at Atrium Health Neurology.
Dr. Singh has been voted a Charlotte magazine Top Doctor repeatedly.
He received his medical degree at the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, and completed residency at the State University of New York. He completed a fellowship in epilepsy and sleep medicine at Duke University.
Dr. Singh has participated in numerous drug trials and clinical trials focused on new epilepsy treatments.
When he’s not working, Dr. Singh enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children – a son and a daughter. They love spending time outdoors as a family, especially hiking and playing tennis, although the skill level of his kids has now surpassed his own.
