Due to the growing number of patients seeking immediate care at urgent care facilities, highly skilled advanced practice providers (APPs) are needed to meet the demand. Urgent care nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) must gain the skills to efficiently provide care for complex acute illnesses and injuries while accurately making medical decisions and managing patients and resources.
