I chose Atrium Health Cabarrus for my PGY1 residency because of the diverse range of both required and elective rotations, which allows for a well-rounded clinical experience tailored to my interests. Additionally, the program’s welcoming environment and strong culture of mentorship stood out to me and made it feel like a place where I could truly grow as a pharmacist. |

Why Atrium Health Cabarrus? I have worked for AH for 3 years as a medication reconciliation technician and have always known AH was the place I wanted to complete my PGY1. AH Cabarrus has an established and successful PGY2 EM, so being able to train alongside a current PGY2 EM resident was important to me as I can learn and grow alongside the current PGY2. |

Why Atrium Health Cabarrus? I was primarily drawn to Atrium Health Cabarrus for PGY1 residency because of the culture of the program. It offers a wide array of clinical experiences with preceptors and mentors who have an overwhelming dedication to helping residents learn and grow as pharmacists. I have felt welcome here from my very first interaction with the program, and I am excited to continue my professional development here this year! |
