What attracted you to our fellowship program?
Choice of fellowship has a direct and profound impact on a surgeon’s entire career. I was drawn to Atrium Health because of the unparalleled clinical volume afforded by this program and the opportunity to work closely with and learn from a dynamic group of surgeons who are truly leaders in the field. For me, getting a breadth of exposure to the full spectrum of vascular surgery in an environment with a clear emphasis on learning and development made the choice to pursue this fellowship a very easy one. 

What have you enjoyed most so far?
I have loved getting to spend time with my teammates in and out of the hospital and exploring live music venues here in Charlotte. 

What do you enjoy about living in Charlotte?
Charlotte is a fantastic city with vibrant arts, culture, and an excellent food scene. Having lived in the northeast for most of my life, I am also really enjoying the warmer weather. 

What are you looking forward to most?
I've been thrilled by my experience thus far, and I'm looking forward to getting more exposure to complex aortic surgery during the remainder of my fellowship.

What attracted you to our fellowship program?
At Atrium’s vascular fellowship program, fellows have a truly immersive educational and hands on operative experience. Trainees get to experience the entire breadth of vascular surgery while learning form leaders in the field. There is an emphasis on graduated autonomy which will prepare fellows to graduate the program, fully capable of practicing on their own, in whichever niche of practice they so choose.

What have you enjoyed most so far?
I have enjoyed learning from the incredible people around me and seeing high quality patient care delivered to those suffering form cardiovascular disease.

What do you enjoy about living in Charlotte?
Being completely new to the city, I really appreciate that there is much the city has to offer. I have particularly enjoyed exploring the many different, restaurants, breweries, and live entertainment venues in the city. Charlotte is a very young and upcoming city, and many of those living where I am are young professionals such as myself.

What are you looking forward to most?

What attracted you to our fellowship program?
CMC is known for both its clinical volume and complexity of cases, as well as an impressive breadth of expertise in open and endovascular cases. Fellows are immersed in training immediately and graduate from this program ready for practice. I was also impressed with how clearly passionate the surgeons are about education and training their fellows.

What are you looking forward to most?
I’m looking forward to working with the incredible team here at CMC and gaining more exposure to the full range of vascular surgery.

What attracted you to our fellowship program?
When searching for a fellowship position I wanted to be exposed to all aspects of vascular surgery, have a high case volume, and be in a supportive environment focused on educating and training the leaders in vascular surgery. It was readily apparent that the program at CMC provided all of this and would allows me to work closely with a motivated group of vascular surgeons passionate about education.

What are you looking forward to most?
I am looking forward to experiencing the wide breath of vascular surgery with the support of a dedicated vascular team committed to excellent patient care. I am also excited to be training in Charlotte which offers a wide variety of entertainment making it a very easy place to live.
