Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine residents train across three Atrium Health hospitals, each offering unique clinical experiences across academic and community settings. This diverse training environment ensures broad exposure and prepares residents to care for patients in any practice setting.

Atrium Health Mercy offers a strong community hospital experience with a focus on personalized, patient-centered care.
Residents in the Elizabeth and Biddle Point tracks complete their adult inpatient medicine rotations at Mercy, gaining experience managing a broad range of conditions while developing autonomy in a supportive environment.
Atrium Health Union provides a community-based training environment in a rapidly growing region just outside of Charlotte.
