Residency Application Information

The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at the Carolinas Medical Center selects its residents via the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) utilizing the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).  Please follow the ERAS instructions to submit your application. We are participating in the program signals.

Required information:

• At least three letters of recommendation
• Dean’s Letter
• Personal Statement
• Pass result for USMLE/COMLEX Exams
• Transcripts

Interviews are in-person starting with a social the night before.  The next day, applicants interview and take tours for the full day. 

We will have 3 interview dates for 2024-2025:

• December 9, 2024
• January 13, 2025
• January 27, 2025
