Jaymi Bautista-Whitaker, DO Dr. Bautista-Whitaker graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship at HCA/University of Florida Ocala-Dept. of Internal Medicine Dr. Bautista-Whitaker enjoy SEC football and softball, reading non-fiction, cross stitching, mad-tripping, and baking with her children. |

Nicolas Brandt, MD Dr. Brandt graduated from University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Columbia and completed his internship at Novant Health-New Hanover Regional Medical Medical Center-Dept. of Internal Medicine. Dr. Brandt enjoys singing, playing the guitar and piano, spending time outdoors, hiking, swimming, and traveling to the beach and mountains |

Alena Sidwell, MD Carolinas Rehabilitation is a great place to train. Our Charlotte location, where we do consults and most inpatient rotations, shares a campus with a level one trauma center. This provides ample opportunity to care for patients with complicated rehab diagnoses. Between this, our stand-alone inpatient rehabilitation facility, diverse outpatient rotations and hands on experience in ultrasound, botulinum toxin, joint injections and interventional procedures, our program provides a comprehensive foundation in all areas of rehabilitation. Some of my other favorite parts of CR include teaching/mentorship opportunities with visiting and Wake Forest School of Medicine students, and our faculty's dedication towards developing residents as both physicians and people. Charlotte itself comes with its own huge list of perks- my personal favorite place to spend free time is the National Whitewater Center. I'm very grateful to be here and couldn't imagine training anywhere else! |
